Ananya in Bollywood

The 'Naadodigal' actress Ananya after getting critically acclaims for the film has made it in Malayalam also. Her new Malayalam film ‘Shikaar' is doing very well in Kerala. Playing Mohanlal's daughter in ‘Shikaar’, Ananya has got a tremendous response from the audience.

Now moving up the ladder, Ananya has signed a Bollywood film to be directed by Ajith, a former assistant to Ram Gopal Varma. The movie will be a bi-lingual in Hindi and Tamil.

Ananya plays the heroine in both the versions. In Tamil she will be paired opposite Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay and in Hindi she will romance either Madhavan or Akshaye Khanna.

Amitabh and Aamir watched Enthiran and Strucked UP

Whenever he does a big film in Tamil, the super star Rajinikanths screens special shows of the film to his friends in Bollywood. It last happened for ‘Sivaji’ and now the ‘Endhiran’s Hindi version ‘Robot’ is captivating the who’s who of Bollywood.

The super star was in Mumbai and he showed ‘Endhiran - the Robot’ to his friend, guide and philosopher Amitabh Bachchan and his other friends in Bollywood like Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Tabu, Urmila Matondkar, Shriya Saran, Hema Malini, Vrinda Rai, S. Shankar, Kiran Rao, Karan Johar, Sunny Deol, Yash Chopra and many other celebrities.

After watching the movie all the stars including the Big B was nothing but awe struck came back speech less.

Amitabh has said “I went to see the event of the season - ROBOT! Rajini had called yesterday from Chennai, was holding a show in Mumbai and as was his tradition wanted me to come over to see it along with other friends. And so we went and so we remained awe struck on what transpired and so we came back speechless on the experience. Aishwarya looked smashing and danced like she had never danced before. Rajini … what can one say for this man. He is just unbelievable. The film is a roller coaster ride of fun and ecstasy and events of mammoth proportions.

Amitabh further said “An incredible experience it was. Rajini was incredible, Aishwarya was colorful and danced like a dream and content and delivery was simply extraordinary.”

The man perfect Aamir Khan said after the movie that he wanted to ‘eat his brain’ - Shankars that is - to know how Shankar managed the awesome film.

So the first real Indian International film has arrived.

'Choorake dil mera, goriya chali…' the song aptly fits Shilpa Shetty, for the way she captures people's hearts with her oomph figure and fine performance. Now if you want beauty tips to her, then her service is only a stone's throw away.

Well jokes apart. The tall beauty will shortly open her chain of Spa in Mumbai.  Called Iosis medispa works, her store will be flagged in association with entrepreneur Kiran Bawa, well-known in beauty and wellness industry. The mediaspa will include spa, salon, styling and skin treatments and everything governed by experts. Giving insight about the venture, Shilpa said, "Being part of an industry where beauty is a pre-requisite, I learnt from my own mistakes and this experience gave me the opportunity to reinvent myself. When people ask me how I did it, their questions will be answered through Iosis. I hope that Iosis medispa works as a catalyst in bettering people's lives at an affordable cost. Kiran and I share one common vision – Wellness India. Bipasha is heading to the fashion capital of Europe, Milan, next month for a string of fashion shows. The actress is quite excited about this as during her modeling days, Bips had made Paris her base for six months and made a lot of budding designer friends, many of whom she is still in touch with.

Katrina select’s family rather than Salman

After last year's bad comprehension, Katrina Kaif has single-minded to have a good time on her birthday with her family in London. The actress is looking forward to conference with her family, but didn't make known whether beau Salman Khan will be with her or not.

Katrina will turn 25 on July 16 and this time the actress, who is believed to be under a lot of marginal in addition to external pressure, is strong-minded to make her birthday a happy, stress-free and pleased occasion.

Katrina will take off for a rare full-family meeting in London this July, to communicate with her birthday. She doesn't confirm the birthday, but admits that she's preparation a holiday with family in July.

Katrina is the central point sister in the middle of the seven girls of the Kaif family. She has until the end of time been the apple of the eye and it was very troubling for her to wrench herself away from the family cocoon in London and construct a career on her own in Mumbai.

According to close friends, Katrina was alarmed of the segregation here. That's why when Salman Khan's family took her in their fold; she was in somebody's debt to them.

Freida Pinto confesses her love for Dev Patel

Freida Pinto, 24, has for the first time confessed her love for her 'Slumdog Millionaire' co-star Dev Patel, 19.The couple have earlier been spotted cuddling up in Israel, and ring shopping in London after the Oscar-winning film was released.

And now, in a recent interview, Freida has called Dev "a lovely boy".

"The friendship blossomed after the film, it got even stronger. This is all new to us," the 'Sun' quoted her as saying.

Asin at IIFA

South Indian actress Asin, who carved a niche for herself with the Hindi version of Ghajini, has been going places ever since the film hit the screens. The latest feather to adorn the actress's cap is the Best Female Debutante award that she received at the tenth International Indian Film Academy awards function. Asin received her award on June 13th at an event held in Macau, China.

Asin's current project includes London Dreams, in which she shares the screen space with not one but two leading heroes in Kollywood – Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan.

Its a business for the porn duplicators to create fake sex tapes of famous celebrities.

An MMS clip from the same fake video also seems to be in circulation and has apparently become the talk of the town in Mumbai already!

The video seems to be in much demand and is unfortunately expected to be available on some sex websites that sell such downloads too, going by the tremendous response.

Salman and Katrina have chosen to remain mum about the same, though they are reportedly worried about the development, all thanks to the fact that some industry insiders have started spreading rumours that it is the couple who features in the clip and not their look-alikes.

Freida Pinto admits relationship with Dev Patel

Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto has come out and spoken for the first time about her friendship with co-star Dev Patel saying it has become stronger.

Thesun.co.uk reports that the two were seen getting intimate in Israel and were also spotted shopping for a ring here after the film was released.

The 24-year-old actress has called 19-year-old Patel a "lovely boy".

"The friendship blossomed after the film, it got even stronger. This is all new to us," she added.

I will do Tamil film: Asin

After the Ghajini success, southern actress Asin Thottumkal is concentrating on Bollywood films but says she won't mind doing Tamil movies if she gets a challenging role to play.

"I would start shooting on the same day when someone will narrate a challenging and substantial script to me," said Asin, who also featured in the Tamil version of Ghajini, here on Tuesday at the press meet.

The actress, who is the brand ambassador of Tata-Sky DTH, was in town to honour the winner of an on-line game competition conducted by the company.

Asin said she too uses Tata-Sky DTH at her home in Mumbai. With several Bollywood projects in hand, Asin moved base to Mumbai from Chennai.

She was recently in the news for allegedly torturing her maid Beulah.

When asked about it, she said: "Life is not always stereotypical, you know. At times, you are faced with events that may not be entirely to your liking. One has to learn to take things in your stride. As long as one doesn't commit mistakes, he or she needn't fear anyone."

Her next Hindi film will be London Dreams in which she has teamed up with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan.

Kareena says to find suitable match: Vivek Oberoi

Vivek Oberoi, whose name is now being linked to sitar player Anoushka Shankar, says good friend Kareena Kapoor pesters him most to find a suitable match for himself and settle down soon.

"The pressure (of getting married) is on, not only from my family but from even Bebo (Kareena's pet name)," said Vivek, who will be seen with Kareena and Saif in Rensil D'Silva's untitled film.

"Every time we go out for dinner, she would shake her head and tell me - 'find a nice girl and settle down' and I would hide behind Saif to dodge the bullet. We had some great laughs," he said.

Vivek's personal life has always been in the spotlight - from the time his engagement to long-standing girlfriend Gurpreet Gill broke off to the short but much-hyped relationship with former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai. But now the actor is single.

He reasons his stag status by saying, "I'm single because I am waiting to find the girl who will make me want to never be single again."

His personal life apart, Vivek has his hands full with big banner movies like Ram Gopal Varma's Rakta Charitra, Prakash Jha's Rajniti and Tips Films' Prince besides Rensil D'Silva's untitled romantic thriller.

So Vivek will be back with a bang after experiencing a series of ups and downs in his career.

Vivek is in no mood to assess his stint in Bollywood since his launch in Varma's Company in 2002 as he says he is still raring to go. "When I retire, I will have enough time to sit back in a rocking chair and judge my career. Right now, it's time for me to grab every opportunity and give it my very best," said Vivek, who was loved by audiences in films such as Saathiya and Yuva.

The actor also spoke about the only mistake he thinks he made during his seven-year-old career. "What went wrong in between was that I had forgotten why I came here...to be an actor...just that...not all the trappings of stardom but just the pure fire of burning desire to act," he said.

Now Vivek says he has set a goal for himself. "Every day, in every way, I want to be better and better...that is my mission and my prayer," he said
