Ryan Tydlacka was named the National Punter of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards for his performance on Saturday. Tydlacka started as 'the kicker" and now he's just "the punter". Some might have seen that as a demotion, but being able to focus on one facet of the game has definitely paid dividends.
Tydlacka averaged 50.5 yards across four kicks on Saturday. The longest kick was 73 yards that put the Rebels at their own three yard line. This was Tydlacka's best single game performance of he career.
Tydlacka ranks ranks third in the SEC with an average of 46.4 yards per punt.
